Sinergia Animal remains an ACE-recommended charity - for the seventh year in a row

For the seventh year in a row, Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) has named Sinergia Animal as a recommended charity—an exceptional recognition of our impact on more than 113 million farmed animals in relatively neglected countries of the Global South. ACE is an independent research organization committed to finding the most effective ways to help animals, and they consider Sinergia Animal one of the top choices for donors who want to make the biggest difference.

How Your Support Transforms Animal Lives

ACE’s analysis estimates that Sinergia's cage-free corporate campaigns have the power to free 53-54 hens per dollar, sparing them from cages and pain. Our pig welfare program could help 21 mother pigs or 354 piglets for every dollar we spend, giving them a chance to live free from brutal confinement and painful mutilations. Our institutional diet change campaigns also replace about three animal-based meals per dollar with cruelty-free plant-based options—an impactful step toward reducing animal suffering on a massive scale.

Last year alone, Sinergia Animal celebrated 49 corporate commitments to improve animal welfare and 26 institutional partnerships to introduce plant-based meals in public and private institutions. “These victories show that our approach—grounded in evidence, compassion, and strategic action—works, and we won’t stop until the lives of millions of animals are transformed”, says Carolina.

The importance of our geographies was also considered. “Sinergia appears to have strategically chosen countries where there are a very high number of farmed animals and where the movement is currently relatively neglected, thereby filling a potentially extremely impactful role in the global animal advocacy movement”, ACE’s report reads.
